We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our Canberra store. As part of our eyecare and eyewear team, you will work with cutting-edge technology to provide world-class service to our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough eye examinations for a diverse range of patients, managing different appointment types and recommending tailored lens solutions based on their individual needs.
You will also be responsible for communicating complex lens technology to customers in an approachable and informative manner, as well as coaching and mentoring Graduate Optometrists in the effective use of technology.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will work closely with our Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to optimize eyecare revenue and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including paediatrics, contact lenses, and therapeutics.
- Recommend customized lens solutions that meet customers' unique lifestyle needs.
- Clearly explain lens technology and its features to customers.
- Mentor Graduate Optometrists in using technology effectively.
- Collaborate with Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to boost eyecare revenue and enhance operational performance.
