Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure safety, product quality, and production efficiency.
  • Plan, schedule, and organize tasks independently, coordinating with other team members as necessary.
  • Execute emergency work orders promptly and provide troubleshooting expertise to minimize downtime.
  • Fabricate metal parts and subassemblies with precision measuring instruments.
  • Operate machining tools, including cutting, grinding, and drilling, to form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances.
  • Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance, overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
  • Install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
  • Provide daily feedback and reports on work progress, identifying delays and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintain flexibility in work hours, providing shift cover and responding to after-hours breakdowns as needed.
