About the Role

This position requires a seasoned technical leader with 8+ years of experience in Java development.

  • You will lead technical initiatives, drive development, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • A strong background in cloud platforms (AWS), relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), and microservices architecture is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to project ownership, a focus on automation, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 8 years of experience with Java development.
  • A proven track record of leading technical initiatives and driving development.
  • Proficiency in AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing microservices, scalable APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • A proactive approach to project ownership and improvement of engineering practices.
  • Exposure to large-scale distributed systems.
  • A focus on automation to drive efficiency and streamline processes.
  • A continuous learner, dedicated to enhancing technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points for hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible, experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab, and knowledge of React JS.
