This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the claims teams with expert return to work, recovery and independence advice.
The specialist will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic support and develop tailored solutions for complex claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with customers, clients, and medical professionals to facilitate effective injury recovery and return to health;
- Support case management of injury recovery through proactive identification of psychosocial factors impacting injury recovery;
- Develop and implement strategic return to work and recovery solutions, educating teams on best practices;
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal recovery outcomes;
- Identify opportunities for education, services, and rehabilitation to positively impact return to work outcomes;
- Educate stakeholders on the return to work process and legislative requirements.
- Previous experience or qualifications in injury rehabilitation, vocational counselling or allied health;
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries in sensitive environments;
- Excellent communication skills, enabling engagement and influence across organisational levels;
- Strong time management and organisational skills;
- A strategic approach to work and a resilient attitude.
