Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Building Inspector Cadet. As a cadet, you will have the opportunity to undertake an 8-week intensive training program, followed by on-the-job training and mentorship from our experienced accredited certifiers.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out assessments of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates, and Building Code of Australia Reports
  • Provide building compliance advice to a wide range of clients
  • Investigate and resolve customer requests
  • Represent Buildcert at industry events, functions, and seminars as required
Requirements
  • A passion for the construction industry and a desire to build a career in certification
  • A trade background is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and resilience
  • A White Card and strong safety focus
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe, and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
