Palm Beach Child Care Support Professional Required

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced childcare professional to provide before and after school care support for a single parent nurse Family in Palm Beach, Gold Coast.

The family requires assistance with the care of their 5 year old child, including daily routines, educational activities and emotional support. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the family to develop a tailored care plan that meets the child's unique needs and provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality childcare services to the family's 5 year old child
  • Developing and implementing a care plan that meets the child's unique needs and promotes their physical, emotional and social development
  • Working collaboratively with the family to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Providing support and guidance to the child as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of the child's care and progress

Requirements include:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • Have current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Hold a Blue Card and Police Clearance
  • Be self-employed/contractor with an ABN
  • Have photo ID and PRODA RA

This is a part-time opportunity requiring approximately 25 hours per fortnight. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be reliable and flexible, and have a passion for working with children and families.
