About the Role

At Bridgestone Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at our Huntlee Store. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general mechanical repairs, including servicing and diagnosis of engine management systems, brakes, and suspension on passenger, light commercial, and 4WD vehicles.
  • Deliver diagnosis of vehicles via video reporting to customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication of repair needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid Trade Qualification/Certification in Automotive Mechanics, combined with a driver's license.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to safe working practices.
