We are seeking a Full-Time Practice Nurse to join our medical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services.
The Role:
- Perform health assessments to identify patients' needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer vaccines and medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor post-vaccination observations and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Triage patients and prioritize emergencies based on severity and urgency.
- Assist General Practitioners with minor procedures and examinations.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical data.
- Perform wound dressings and suture removal, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide health education and coaching to patients, empowering them to take control of their health.
Requirements:
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
- Experience working in General Practice or acute settings.
- Knowledge of Health Assessment principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling effective prioritization and task completion.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, facilitating seamless interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
