Tax Training Manager

Key Responsibilities- Oversee, manage, and participate in the creation, delivery, and continuous optimization of technical training for our Tax team nationally.
- Work closely with senior leaders across tax service lines, Learning and Development, and other subject matter experts to coordinate delivery of timely and relevant training programs addressing Tax technical training needs by level and market.
- Manage national technical training schedule and L&D budget, ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by relevant stakeholders, and provide regular updates on expense tracking.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant client-facing tax experience (>5 years postgraduate experience), including working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime, and demonstrated interest in managing a holistic technical development program.
As a mid-senior-level professional, you will be responsible for leading national training projects as required, preparing ad hoc project/business initiative reports, and status updates. You will also oversee, manage, and produce appropriate tax technical materials (internal and client-facing) to ensure Grant Thornton Australia remains a tax technical thought leader.
