About the Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and capable Contracts Administrator to work with a reputable construction company that prioritises safety and quality, fosters strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and encourages a fun, high-performing work environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes. You will be responsible for maintaining proactive and positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, and planning actions to complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules.
- Plan actions and complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early.
- Take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes.
- Support the Project Manager and Site Manager to determine and communicate an effective request for information (RFI) management process with subcontractors.
- Ensure project document control to meet all contract requirements, including drawings, specifications and reports.
- Develop budget targets identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Manage and maintain cost control software, including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
- You should have strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive outcomes and influence and build commercially beneficial relationships with all project stakeholders.
- You will act decisively with an ability to problem solve and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
