Job Summary

The Senior IT Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in optimizing our IT procurement processes, collaborating with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.

This individual will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation, leading high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for IT procurement activities, conducting market research to identify potential vendors and technologies, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in procurement, with a focus on IT goods and services, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced environment, extensive experience in IT procurement, with a deep understanding of market trends, technologies, and supplier landscapes, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and optimize procurement processes.

The successful candidate will be able to foster and manage strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring alignment with our values and expectations, identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in IT procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Lead high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for IT procurement activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and technologies, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
