A premier company is seeking a corporate lawyer with 4-10 years of post-qualification experience to join their in-house legal team.

About the Role

This is a broad and commercially based role that will encourage an in-house counsel to play a key role in the business.

You will work closely with the General Counsel and be involved in significant legal matters, including general commercial, corporate/mergers & acquisitions, property/leasing, projects, litigation, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the legal function and become involved in significant legal matters
  • Work on significant contracts, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Manage processes and be a good people person with high EQ
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 4 years PQE and up to about 9 PQE
  • Front-end commercial law experience
  • Training in a well-regarded firm or in-house
  • Ability to get on well with people from a range of backgrounds
