Teaching Economist

We are seeking a part-time instructor in Economics to join our educational establishment. This role will involve teaching AS/A-level Economics and providing academic guidance, support, and counselling for students.

• Deliver scheduled lessons and prepare educational materials
• Assess students' work and liaise with awarding bodies and exam invigilation
• Provide academic guidance, support, and counselling for all students
• Contribute to the development, planning, assessment, and evaluation of course provision

1. A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification
2. Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualification
3. Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
4. Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
