Job Title: Water Management Control Systems Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Water Management Control Systems Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in planning and programming control systems for water projects. NES Fircroft partners with a leading miner producer to support Pilbara mine site dewatering operations and brownfield project upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control System Planning: Develop plans and programs for control systems across water projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Scope of Work Development: Review and implement scope of work documents for control system requirements, guaranteeing that all specifications are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that control systems meet operational needs, fostering strong relationships and driving successful outcomes.
  • Vendor Review: Assess vendor submissions for compliance with control specifications, upholding the highest standards of quality.
  • Design Review: Participate in electrical design reviews for upcoming water projects, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Training and Support: Deliver training and support to site teams and contractors on control systems infrastructure, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Control Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in process control systems, with a focus on PLC programming, commissioning, and MIRI Technologies AD2006+.
  • Proficiency in Cimplicity SCADA design & commissioning, ladder logic, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of control systems engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
