Frozen Delights Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ice Cream Maker to join our gelato production team at Gelato Messina Kent Town. As an Ice Cream Maker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality gelato products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Churn fresh gelato daily
- Monitor stock levels to ensure a consistent supply of gelato
- Maintain a clean kitchen environment and implement effective food safety practices
- Manage orders and stock effectively
- Assist with deliveries and front-of-house service as needed
Please note that this role includes working behind the bar serving customers and performing other store duties beyond production responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a working holiday or Covid visa
- Ability to work over 20 hours per week
- Previous experience in busy environments, such as kitchens or bars, is highly desirable
- Excellent English language skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups of people
- Commitment to a minimum 6-month period
While prior gelato experience is not necessary, we are looking for someone with energy, personality, and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
