About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner will foster collaborative relationships with managers and stakeholders across various sites of our Health Service to provide expert HR advice. Key responsibilities include Employee Relations matters, change management, ensuring adherence to codes of conduct, values, and policies, as well as dealing with workforce conduct and performance issues.

This is a permanent full-time position requiring flexible work arrangements based at Werribee Mercy Hospital and/or Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, with some travel across sites and remote work options. The Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate with local and Group HR teams and provide day-to-day management on HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and stakeholders
  2. Manage Employee Relations matters, including grievances and disputes
  3. Develop and implement change management strategies
  4. Evaluate and improve processes and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a HR generalist business partnership role
  • Experience working in the health industry or community services (preferable)
  • Familiarity with relevant Victorian Public Health Enterprise Agreements, including Union consultation

You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders and the wider HR team.
