Senior Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer role plays a vital part in ensuring the ongoing integrity, safety, and compliance of all structural assets across the mining operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough structural inspections and assessments of critical assets.
  • Maintain and update structural defect registers and risk-based inspection schedules.
  • Develop and manage the Structural Integrity Management Plan (SIMP) and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical review and validation of structural designs, scopes, and calculations for projects and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with third-party contractors and oversee structural remediation or fabrication works to ensure compliance and quality.
About The Candidate
  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (with structural focus).
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, analysis, and design.
  • Proficiency in structural modelling and engineering software.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant Australian Standards.
