Cleaner Position

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Cleaner.

Ikon Services is a market leader in commercial cleaning services, hygiene & washroom services, property services, waste management & recycling solutions within the public, private and commercial industrial sectors.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Collection, segregation and disposal of waste
  • General cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, wiping and vacuuming
  • Toilet cleaning
  • Assisting customers with general enquiries
  • Detail and sanitizing cleans of outdoor and indoor public areas and facilities as well as rest and break rooms
  • General rubbish removal/waste disposal
  • Responding to scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning requests

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Diligence and pride in your work
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service experience, working with the public
  • The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Some cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
