Albany Psychiatric Consultant Position in a Growing Regional Center

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our well-established mental health department as a Consultant Psychiatrist. This permanent full-time appointment offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment for older adults with mental illness based in the community. You will also supervise and train medical students, initiate and participate in research projects relevant to the mental health service, and participate in the on-call roster for the mental health team.
The position requires a FRANZCP or eligibility for Specialist registration with AHPRA or substantially comparable assessment with RANZCP. You will have the opportunity to work with a local geriatric team to run the memory service and collaborate with other local mental health services.
