Senior IT Security and Cloud Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior IT Security and Cloud Officer within our Group Information Technology team based in Adelaide.

This position plays a critical part in delivering our digital transformation and cloud migration program, with responsibility for implementing, securing, and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructure across the Group.

The successful candidate will ensure secure deployment of cloud services, migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure, enhance existing cyber security controls on hardware, mobile devices, software and data, and contribute to maintaining compliance with Australian privacy and cyber security legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deploy and maintain secure Azure and hybrid environments in line with Group architecture and governance frameworks.
  2. Implement cloud-native security controls, identity management, encryption, and access policies.
  3. Investigate and respond to security events in accordance with the Group Incident Response Plan.
  4. Assist with patching, remediation, and threat mitigation activities across IT environments.
  5. Contribute hands-on to the execution of our cloud migration program, including application rehosting and infrastructure integration.
  6. Ensure secure configuration, access controls, and logging are in place for all migrated systems.
  7. Maintain detailed technical documentation and support internal/external audit and risk review processes.
