About Our Construction Lawyer Role

We are seeking a skilled lawyer to fill our construction law position in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to work with a leading firm advising government departments and major construction companies on complex matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end construction matters, possess strong drafting skills, and demonstrate attention to detail. They will also showcase technical ability, commercial acumen, and a client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal services in front-end and back-end construction matters
  • Draft submissions and witness statements; support security of payment disputes; contribute to ADR processes
  • Engage in front-end project work across the public and private sectors
Requirements
  • 2-4 years post-admission experience
  • Experience in front-end and back-end construction matters
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated technical ability and commercial acumen
  • A client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently
