We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Team Leader to join our team at Mind Australia Limited. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting dedicated teams to deliver high-quality recovery-oriented services to clients, families, and carers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Model Effective Practice: Coach and lead a team to deliver high-quality psychosocial services and in line with Mind's values and culture.
- Supervise and Mentor Staff: Provide supervision, mentoring, and coaching to Community Mental Health Practitioners and Peer Practitioners.
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, including administration, rostering, facilitating handovers, recruitment, and planning budget expenditure.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with a range of services and the community to ensure a coordinated, integrated response to client's recovery goals.
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related field.
- Expertise in working with people with mental health issues, complex needs, and interacting with families and carers.
- Experience in leadership and capability to coach, mentor, and develop a team to achieve best quality service outcomes, including experience in the provision of professional supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Community Services sector and capacity to build strong relationships with service providers, clinical teams, and key stakeholders.
- Lived experience of mental ill health and recovery or experience caring for a person with mental ill health is desirable.
