About This Role
The Senior Simulator Technician position at CAE is a full-time opportunity based at the ACE Training Centre in Bankstown, NSW.
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee maintenance operations and ensure effective execution of training events. As a shift leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff, customers, and visitors, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your primary objective will be to maintain high standards of performance, adhering to internal and external compliance requirements. This includes executing maintenance actions, leading the maintenance shift, and training/mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise the maintenance shift to optimize resource utilization and achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, addressing any issues that may arise during shifts.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop a competent workforce through training and mentoring programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of $120,000 per year salary commensurate with experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, preferably gained from working as a simulator technician or in a related field.
- Cert IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification.
- Senior First Aid & CPR certification.
