About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Assistant to join our NSW Grain Protection team at our Lockhart site. As a Pest Control Assistant, you will be responsible for inspecting site infrastructure and storage assets for hygiene and cleanliness, monitoring and carrying out pest control and fumigation procedures, and providing expert advice and training to site staff.

About Your Experience

While experience in trades and services, building and construction, transport and logistics, or agriculture is ideal, we are open to candidates with a genuine passion for the grains and wider agricultural industry. You will need to have an unrestricted driver's licence and be willing to travel and work at heights and in confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect site infrastructure and storage assets for hygiene and cleanliness
  • Monitor and carry out pest control and fumigation procedures
  • Provide expert advice and training to site staff
  • Undertake work in compliance with relevant safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Complete reporting, audit and other activities as required
