Job Responsibilities

As a Mobile Processing Unit Operator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading holes and calibrating MPUs.
  • Navigating various terrains.
  • Working within OEM parameters.
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
  • Following directives from a licensed Shotfirer.
Requirements

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Previous experience as a MPU operator in quarrying or coal.
  • Standard 11 certification.
  • HR Driver's Licence.
  • QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
  • RIIVEH307F - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle (desirable).
  • RIIBLA203E - Conduct Mobile Mixing of Explosives (desirable).
  • A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
  • The ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Rights to work in Australia in a permanent capacity.
