We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Education Specialist to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality nursing education programs within our hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and deliver nursing education courses and programs that meet the needs of our staff, graduate nurses, and students.
- Coordinate and provide hands-on educational support and clinical teaching and facilitation to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Promote evidence-based nursing practice through the dissemination of current best practice knowledge and ensure staff compliance with annual mandatory training and eLearning components.
- Develop and implement competency-based programs to assess staff competencies and ensure best practice standards are maintained.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment.
- Postgraduate Certificate in a related specialty area (or working towards).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital setting.
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- HDU/ICU background.
- Midwifery background.
