CG Supervisor: Visual Effects Leadership

We are a world-leading visual effects facility, serving the motion picture, commercial production, and attraction industries.
Job Summary:This position is for a skilled CG Supervisor to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the technical development and implementation of our projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between artists and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the technical development and implementation of shows, including workflow, tool, and pipeline decisions.
- Ensure all delivered shots meet our rigorous technical standards and support the creative vision of the Director.
- Collaborate with VFX Supervisors, Producers, and Discipline Leadership to identify and solve technical problems, bottlenecks, and workflow issues.
- Provide technical advice to VFX Supervisors on achieving aesthetic requirements in an efficient manner while maintaining the highest visual standard.
- Run daily Atlas checks with other 3D Supervisors and work closely with global team members to ensure pipeline and workflow parity.
- A strong understanding of Linux, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience working in a team environment with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and provide accurate time estimates for shot task completion.
- Familiarity with Maya, Katana, Zeno, and Nuke is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Graphics (or equivalent experience) and ideally 5+ years of hands-on production experience.
We offer a competitive salary of AUD $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities and a comprehensive health insurance package.
