We are seeking an experienced Loan Processing and Packaging Specialist to join our team at Shore Financial.

The Role:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Loan processing and packaging, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan applications;
  • Effective communication with clients, lenders, and legal professionals to facilitate the loan process;
  • Managing the loan process from lead to post-settlement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Drafting and managing internal and external communications, including correspondence with clients and lenders;
  • Diary and email management, as well as general administrative duties as required;
  • Data entry into our sales tracking system and other relevant software;
  • Preparing compliance documentation for proposed loans, as necessary;
  • Lodging loan applications and following up with lenders to ensure timely processing;
  • Organizing valuations and pricing approvals with lenders, ensuring seamless loan processing;
  • Booking and organizing settlements with clients, solicitors, and lenders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of loan transactions;
  • Ensuring all settled files are compliant with regulatory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in loan packaging and processing;
  • Proficiency in Salestrekker or similar sales tracking systems;
  • Ability to review and interpret income documentation to assess client serviceability;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high-volume workload;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, lenders, and internal stakeholders;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
