Job Opportunity

The role of a Clinical Nurse requires an individual to be a clinical and professional resource within the operating theatres. The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • This position involves acting as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • The ideal candidate will have highly developed communication skills and a strong patient- and customer-focused approach.
  • Closely work with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the department operates safely and efficiently in line with best practice standards.
About the Role:

To succeed in this position, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and have experience working in Theatres. Your leadership skills, excellent time management, and developed clinical problem-solving abilities will assist you in this role.

  • Possess relevant registration with AHPRA.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' post graduate experience in the area of speciality is required.
  • Hold a relevant post graduate qualification or be working towards it.
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
  • Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration.
