Job Description

As a Server Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that enables us to advance the way the world pays, banks, and invests. You'll be responsible for deploying new technologies and ensuring system performance.

  1. Propose and implement system enhancements.
  2. Monitor system usage and performance and troubleshoot issues.
  3. Assist with hardware and software upgrades or repairs.
  4. Support messaging services and maintain a secure environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in Linux system administration.
  2. Strong hands-on expertise with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
  3. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills

If you have these skills, it's a plus:

  1. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
  2. Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, or Splunk).
  3. Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and load balancers.
  4. Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms.
  5. Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
