Job Opportunity: Cultural Responsiveness and Capacity Building
This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the education sector, specifically in supporting First Nations students, families, and communities.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff that develops and delivers resources, guidance, and professional learning to improve the capacity and capability of the education system to respond to the aspirations and needs of First Nations students, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering professional learning programs that support practice change and improve teaching and learning in the context of the Victorian Curriculum.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to build strong networks and partnerships with the Koorie community.
- Providing strategic leadership to ensure policy, programs, services, and curriculum are inclusive of Koorie learners and builds leadership and supports workforce capacity.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience writing and delivering professional learning programs that support practice change.
- Comprehensive knowledge of teaching and learning in the context of the Victorian Curriculum.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
