About the Role: This position is based on the Surgical Ward at Calvary St Luke's Private Hospital. The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse, responsible for providing safe and effective patient care within a patient-focused environment. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Enrolled Nurse works within a team of dedicated staff who provide support and foster safe clinical practice.

Main Duties:

  • Participate in the delivery of a patient-centred model of care within a safe environment.
  • Perform medication administration tasks within scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate competent practice when administering medications, including nursing duties.

Your Qualifications:

  • AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
