**Senior Backend Software Engineer Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong foundation in back-end software engineering and be able to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs and backend systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of complex projects from technical design to launch.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs and backend systems using PHP, Laravel, and Python.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code and promote best practices in backend development.
  • Contribute to DevOps by helping improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing through meaningful code reviews and design discussions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end software engineering.
  • Strong skills in application architecture and database design.
