About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team as an Asset Lifecycle Engineer. This is a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Asset Management analyses and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct System Reviews for enhancements of designated systems, covering operational data assessment, trends & failure analysis, and maintenance efficiency assessment.
  • Perform technical risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct single-domain technical investigations and analysis for problem assessment/resolution.
  • Conduct initial assessment and oversight of Engineering Change activities for designated systems.
  • Contribute to process improvement within the engineering lifecycle to deliver continuous improvements.
  • Act as Technical Authority in the appropriate Class/Speciality when authorized to do so.
  • Contribute to accurate and appropriate technical documentation records being securely developed and maintained.
  • Provide satisfactory engineering advice in area of technical or operational expertise and experience.
  • Seek and share good practice and knowledge locally, and continue to develop skills and capabilities.
Requirements

You must possess an accredited bachelor's degree in either Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering recognized under the Washington Accord. You must qualify for Professional Engineer category Membership through a recognized body and be actively working towards achieving chartered status.

You must have a deep understanding of Asset Management principles and their practical application, coupled with a thorough grasp of Integrated Logistics Support methodologies, including LSA, LORA, and LCC Analysis.

You must be proficient in Integrated Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability Engineering modeling and analysis, and be well-versed in utilizing various tools such as Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), RAM analysis, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA), FMECA, and RCM.
