We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to become a vital part of our team at APM.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist families in integrating supportive strategies into their daily routines; Provide coaching and support for families, facilitate group programs and individual therapy, and connect families with community resources, while also assisting families and therapists with administrative duties; Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication, leadership, and support in delivering high-quality services; Focus on continuous improvement through regular assessments, training, and reviews; Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Skills:

A genuine passion for positively impacting the lives of children and their families; While formal qualifications are not mandatory, experience working with children and families with additional needs is essential; Progressing towards a relevant Allied Health qualification; Familiarity with the NDIS framework is highly advantageous; Excellent communication and organizational abilities; Capability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently in community settings; Compliance with necessary checks, including Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, and First Aid certification.
