We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented lawyer to join our Superannuation & Insurance Litigation Team on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have the choice of being based in our Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane office.

This role is suited for candidates looking to make their mark within the firm while helping everyday Australians with disputes arising out of their life insurance cover held either through their superannuation funds or directly with a life insurer or financial institution.

  • Disputed Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims
  • Income Protection claims
  • Trauma claims
  • Life Insurance claims
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2+ years post-admission experience in insurance litigation (life or general insurance) or personal injury litigation
  • Keen interest in specialising in superannuation, insurance, and financial services litigation
  • Experience in business development is preferable
  • Strong legal, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong client and relationship-building skills
  • Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide guidance to the wider team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
