Mauri, a leading Australian supplier of high-quality flours, yeasts, pre-mixes, improvers, grains and animal nutrition, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join its team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is based at our Hope Valley site, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the optimal operational outcomes and mitigating risks in accordance with company policy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake maintenance activities, including scheduled/preventative maintenance and breakdown responses, to ensure seamless production and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Production functions to schedule maintenance work for optimal customer outcomes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular plant and workshop inspections, adhering to approved safety, hazard, and hygiene practices, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete accurate and prompt maintenance records and documentation, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and escalate issues promptly to the manager, facilitating effective solutions and minimizing disruption to operations.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter & Turner).
  • Prior maintenance experience in the Feed or Food manufacturing sector (FMCG) with feed milling equipment.
  • Extensive fault-finding and problem-solving expertise, with a logical and systematic approach.
  • A good understanding of and commitment to health and safety work practices, with a valid WA driver's licence.
  • A Restricted Electrical Licence is desirable (manufacturing equipment).
