Description:

This role is perfect for someone who loves bringing joy through food and values the impact of their work on others' wellbeing. As a Culinary Support Professional, you will be working in a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen environment where you can make a real difference.

  • Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to our residents' needs.
  • Cater for texture-modified diets (IDDSI framework) and special dietary requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide an exceptional dining experience.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Cook or Catering Assistant (Aged Care experience highly regarded).
  • Understanding of IDDSI and texture-modified diets.
  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
