We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try, a leading construction group with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Manage the commercial administration of construction projects, including the preparation of contracts, tenders, and other commercial documents.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and control project costs, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to address them.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

• Relevant degree in a construction-related field, such as quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including contract administration, cost management, and project planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
