Job Title: Accreditations Associate

At Zip, we're looking for a skilled Accreditations Associate to join our Merchant Risk team. As an Accreditations Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that on-boarded merchants are suitable for our platform and operate in a manner that benefits Zip, consumers, and merchants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills by reviewing merchant applications and participating in merchant risk management initiatives.
  • Own the end-to-end assessment of merchant applications in line with our Accreditations Guidelines.
  • Communicate with the Sales team and Merchant Experience team regarding merchant applications and account variations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Merchant Experience teams to provide continuous feedback on process improvements in the merchant onboarding function.
  • Support merchant risk management and risk initiatives, including merchant collections, compliance to the MSA, auditing, and merchant risk projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail or commercial loan assessment experience (preferable, not essential).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Sound verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify efficiencies and improvements to how we operate.
  • Ability to handle high work volumes and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Time management and ability to keep to deadlines.
  • Experience in multi-tasking to meet all work requirements & timeframes.
  • Understanding of compliance framework and regulations such as privacy, Know Your Customer & Anti-Money Laundering.
