About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity to support our operations in the Hobart region as an Administration Assistant / Depot Administration.
You will be experienced, reliable, and able to provide efficient day-to-day administration support to the team.
This role offers a lot of variety, supporting Administration and Operations - including operating a Forklift.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry: Accurately process data with attention to detail.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable duties: Manage financial transactions efficiently.
- General administration and office support: Provide administrative assistance to the team.
- Processing of documentation accurately and efficiently within required timeframes: Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Answering telephones, responding to email enquiries: Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required: Maintain effective communication channels.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met: Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Facilitate flow of information between sales, operations, administration and management: Foster collaboration among teams.
- Other duties as requested: Be flexible and adaptable to meet business needs.
- Forklift license (highly regarded): A valuable asset in this role.
- Have experience in a similar Administration role: Leverage your skills and knowledge.
- Moderate to advance Microsoft Office capability: Utilize your proficiency in office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders: Establish strong working relationships.
- Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail: Ensure accuracy and precision in your work.
