Job Title: Technical Artist

At LNW Gaming ANZ Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our gaming team. As a Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing software systems, art assets, and game engine assets that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement software systems, art assets, and game engine assets that meet the company's quality and performance standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and artists to ensure that products meet look-and-feel and performance requirements.
  • Identify and solve technical issues related to the art pipeline.
  • Provide technical feedback to artists to ensure the creation of optimized assets.
  • Document and evangelize best practices.
  • Create tools and scripts to optimize Unity workflow.
  • Profile and debug game performance to identify areas that need optimization.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in game development studios.
  • Familiarity with versioning software such as Perforce, CVS, Alien Brain, or similar.
  • Experience creating motion graphics or animations.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with game engines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software engineering skills in C#.
  • Unity development experience.
  • Tool development skills in C# and Python.
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
