About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Paediatric Rehab Case Manager in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and medical professionals to assess and establish rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with families and medical teams to assess and establish rehabilitation needs
  • Support and guide families in establishing their child's rehabilitation needs and timing for different services
  • Develop clear, person-centred rehabilitation and life goals, and formulate rehabilitation plans for approval by the funding source
  • Write high-quality reports, service requests, and service costing throughout the rehabilitation program
  • Act as the key contact for all rehabilitation-related matters
  • Monitor progress, report, and identify barriers to recovery throughout the rehabilitation continuum

About You

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration. You will have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and families. You will also have knowledge of traumatic brain injury and its effects on children and adolescents, as well as experience working with children and adolescents who have suffered traumatic injuries or have complex disabilities.
