Job Role:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Services Assistant to join our dynamic accounting firm in East Perth.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing administrative tasks, and collaborating with our team of accountants to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling jobs, preparing letters of engagement, and maintaining client information in XERO
  • Collaborate with our team of accountants to ensure seamless delivery of services, attending to and liaising with clients and accountants on queries relating to their work
  • Prepare and distribute invoices to clients, manage ELDs, and lodge tax returns
  • Process ASIC Annual Returns, facilitate ATO payment arrangements, and assist in the processing of corporate secretarial work
  • General office administration, including scanning, filing, archiving, and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Client Services role within a Tax Accounting Practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of the role, including Xero, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team
  • Proficient in Xero, Excel, and Word, with experience in dealing with the ATO
  • Ability to work independently, with high level of integrity and regard for confidentiality
  • High attention to detail, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
