Logistics Support Specialist

This role involves working with advanced naval technology, providing logistics support services for the upkeep, update and upgrade of ACS systems.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting customers through inventory management, warehousing and distribution, and supply chain coordination activities.
  • Ensuring supply support liaison is current with all key stakeholders for logistics activities, including prioritizing, tracking and delivery of FMS material.
  • Contributing to the management of the Aegis Combat System inventory in accordance with Electronic Supply Chain Manual, DEFLOGMAN and FMS policies.
  • Overseeing the tracking and delivery of DDG FMS Aegis Combat System assets, resolving logistics problems and providing associated correspondence and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Material Requirement Planning and/or Inventory Management Systems.
  • Substantial experience liaising with service contractors and service providers.
  • Significant experience in MILIS or SAP.
  • Australian Baseline security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information.
