Our organisation seeks a Financial Governance Expert to join its Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior financial management roles, preferably as CFO or equivalent in a large organisation with diversified revenue sources. They should possess strong governance expertise and previous board or committee experience, ideally as a member or Chair of a finance or audit committee.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial compliance, audit processes, and risk management frameworks. They will also guide strategic financial decision-making, investment management, and performance monitoring.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Relevant qualifications (CPA, CA, CFA, or similar) and proven experience in senior financial management roles.
  • Experience as CFO or equivalent in a large organisation with diversified revenue sources.
  • Strong governance expertise and previous board or committee experience, ideally as a member or Chair of a finance or audit committee.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing financial compliance, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.
  • Capability to guide strategic financial decision-making, investment management, and performance monitoring.

This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at bi-monthly board meetings and quarterly committee meetings. As a Financial Governance Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational strategy and ensuring the sustainability of our financial operations.
