Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech Pathologist to become a vital part of our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at AnglicareSA. Our Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) is committed to providing exceptional intervention, education, and therapy services tailored to children, young people, and adults in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and young individuals with disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based speech pathology interventions across diverse service areas, including speech, language, fluency, feeding, augmentative and alternative communication, and social skills development.
- Engage in continuous professional development, supervision, and peer mentoring to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the innovation and expansion of services aimed at empowering children and young people to achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology is required (2024 graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia is essential.
- Familiarity with a variety of developmental delays and disorders is expected.
- Previous experience in delivering speech pathology services to individuals with complex communication needs is desirable.
