About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Linux Administrator to join our team at Consunet Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, testing, and maintaining high-availability networks of primarily Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures for Linux-based systems
  • Configure and manage Linux environments, including installation, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Integrate and test network components, including firewalls, load balancers, and gateways
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Provide day-to-day systems support and administration to stakeholders
  • Analyze and report risks as they are identified
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems and network topologies
  • Experience with VMware, including vCenter, NSX, and vRealize
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and containerization
  • Experience with network security products, including firewalls and load balancers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Linux management tools, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Satellite
  • Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices
  • Experience with operating system and application patch management
  • Knowledge of cyber security toolsets, including detection, recording, monitoring, and analysis
  • Strong understanding of current security landscape and threats
