About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join our team as a Flight Operations Specialist. As a key member of our aeromedical team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and conduct of flights, including normal refueling and completion of statutory documentation
  • Assisting in the loading and unloading of patients and handling of luggage and/or cargo
  • Flight planning and administration, including preparation and maintenance of standard flight plans and data input
  • Participation in activities relating to occupational health and safety and Safety and Quality Management System
  • Performing post-flight duties in accordance with operations manual
  • Hangaring aircraft where required for security and environmental factors

Requirements:

  • Commercial Pilot Licence or Airline Transport Pilot Licence
  • Aircraft type rating or class rating and aircraft design feature endorsement applicable
  • Current instrument rating with IAP2D and IAP3D endorsements
  • Current instructor rating with CLRSEA, DF, IR training endorsements
  • Current flight examiner rating with IR testing endorsements
  • 3000 hours pilot in command total time, with 500 hours on type
  • Minimum of 500 hours night flight time and 100 hours instrument flight time
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills
  • Conscientious, hardworking and flexible with a results-focussed mindset
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with others
  • Able to work weekends, nights and public holidays to suit training requirements
