Children's Services Educator

Job Description:

As a Casual Children's Services Educator at our vibrant outside school hours care centre, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the educational and personal growth of school-aged children. Our nurturing environment fosters creativity, inclusivity, and social skills in a safe and secure space.

This role is ideal for those passionate about providing high-quality care and education that caters to the diverse needs of children. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to deliver engaging recreational and educational activities that promote cognitive development, emotional intelligence, and physical well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification is desirable, along with a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
